In-House Support

In addition to our public workshops, we provide organisations with one-to-one in-house support. We do this in all sorts of ways, but most often it involves team workshops, planning sessions or individual mentoring. All of our in-house sessions can be customised to meet individual needs.

Mentoring Programme
Regular mentoring is a great way to get the support you need to be an effective leader. Exult mentors help you tap into your own wisdom and experience, expand your networks, grow your knowledge base and stay accountable and on track.

Introduction to Governance
This is a great workshop for Boards to do together, regardless of whether their trustees are new, long-standing or in between. This session enables trustees to get clear about their roles and responsibilities, discuss and agree upon Governance practices, and develop a road map for what is expected from here on in. The session takes 4 hours and can be delivered on evenings and Saturdays if required.

Strategic Planning
In this full day session, we take you through a step-by-step process to help you develop a user-friendly Strategic Plan. At the end of the workshop you will have a one-page document that provides big picture direction and practical strategies for moving your organisation forward. This workshop will change the way you look at Strategic Planning and give your organisation a useful tool for focusing effort and making decisions. The workshop can be delivered on Saturdays if required.

Languages of Appreciation
If you want your team to be working at their full potential, they need to feel appreciated and that takes more than a thank-you card and a Christmas dinner. Learn why you can’t have a one-size-fits-all approach to appreciation and discover what your team members need to feel like a valued part of the team.

Problem Solving / Planning Sessions
Whatever problem you’re facing, we can help you look at the challenge with fresh eyes and generate loads of ideas or potential solutions. Once all the ideas are on the table, we help you identify the ones that might work best for your organisation and together we create an action plan of ‘where to from here’. Organisations have used these sessions to develop all sorts of plans including Volunteer Recruitment, Fundraising Events, Marketing Strategies and more. Workshops run from 3 hours to a full day.

Capability Assessments
Running a successful organisation requires you to juggle lots of balls at the same time. Not only do you need to be offering effective programmes and services, you need to have your governance in check, your communication sorted and your finances under control. You need to have great relationships with stakeholders, strong leadership and a plan for the future. With so much required, it’s sometimes hard to see what you should be focusing on next. Our Capability Assessments help to identify what you are doing really well, and where you may benefit from some extra support – so you know where to put your focus.Whatever your training or development needs we can develop a solution to suit. And if we can’t, we will do our best to recommend someone who can.
